The Board of Trustees

There are currently five members of the Board of Trustees. Their responsibilities are to oversee the management of West Fife Fencing Club. Trustees are appointed (and can be reappointed) for four yearly terms by club members.

    David is one of the clubs founding members and one of our more active fencing parents, he is a qualified coach and referee.
    He regularly works with Scottish and British Fencing refereeing at various competitions around the country, he helps with all aspects of running the club.

    I have been involved in fencing for 26 years and have previously been on the board and the executive committee of Scottish Fencing.

    Was a competitive fencer who represented Scotland many times and reached Commonwealth level captaining the ladies epee team in Canada and Kuala Lumpur. Took a break to have a family and have recently started to compete at veterans level. I won the age group gold medal in the Commonwealth veterans in 2014 and qualified for the Veterans World Championships last year. Currently the veteran ladies epee captain for Scotland.

    I am a Physiotherapist and a fencing mum too.
